JOB OPPORTUNITY: Folk needed to carry out humanist weddings in Dundee

If you have ever wanted to conduct a wedding ceremony and you live in the Dundee area – now is your chance!

Fuze Ceremonies are on the hunt for prospective candidates to fill celebrant positions.

The humanist organisation has celebrants across Scotland who conduct weddings, but is looking to fill gaps in the Dundee, Angus, Perth and Fife areas.

Successful applicants will be given the title of celebrant (or more formally a marriage officer) and will be fully trained and registered to perform legal humanist weddings in Scotland.

Celebrants will work on a self-employed basis and are encouraged to market themselves at wedding fares and shows, however full support will be provided by Fuze at their headquarters.

Successful candidates will have to undertake a four-day training course. There is also the option of expanding into funerals, which will require an additional course.

The next course will take place in November and hopefuls are encouraged to get their applications in as soon as possible.
