A thief who threatened a Dundee shop assistant has been sentenced to a four-month jail term.
Scott Lowden, 31, admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards Liam Brand on March 16, at the Co-op store in Albert Street.
He also stole £37.22 worth of food from Spar, Hilltown, on May 8.
The court heard that Lowden pointed in Mr Brand’s face and said he “would be waiting for him” when he finished his shift.
The incident occured after Lowden was confronted while acting suspiciously in one of the aisles of the shop.
Lowden, who is currently serving an eight-month sentence, was given a further four months by Sheriff Tom Hughes.
