Residents are demanding urgent action over claims drivers are dodging hospital parking charges by ditching cars in their neighbourhood.
People living in Lundie Avenue in the Lochee ward say motorists are clogging up their road in efforts to save cash.
Resident Jim Elder, 79, said the situation was getting “beyond a joke”.
“You’ve got people coming up here for visiting time at Kings Cross and it wouldn’t surprise me if they were leaving their cars here for Ninewells too,” he said.
“It’s beyond a joke now and we’re getting sick of it.
“People can’t get parked and it’s going to get even worse when the football park opens up.
“I’ve got a driveway but you can still see that it’s a big problem here and there’s no sign of it getting any better.”
Fellow local Dean Harrison, 41, added: “The problem has definitely got worse over the last few months or so.

“My wife told me there had been folk parking here for the hospital as well.
“Fair enough, the parking situation across here isn’t great but it’s still having an impact on us. They need to get it sorted pretty quick or it’s going to get a lot worse.”
Lochee councillor Charlie Malone said he had written to council officers in a bid to resolve the issues.
Mr Malone said: “The residents are telling me that it’s people who are simply parking in their street and then heading on the bus to go to Ninewells.”
A Dundee City Council spokeswoman said: “We are looking into this.”
