Inverness Caley to hold pitch inspection ahead of Dundee United game tomorrow

Inverness Caley will hold a pitch inspection ahead of tomorrow’s Championship clash with Dundee United.

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for ice throughout much of Scotland tomorrow, including the Inverness area.

The Highlands club has this afternoon tweeted that tomorrow’s game against the Tangerines could be in doubt.

It said: “Due to the weather forecast overnight tonight and early tomorrow, have made preliminary arrangements for a pitch inspection to be carried out at 8am. We will advise/update at the earliest opportunity.”

The Met Office forecasts that conditions in the Caledonian Stadium tomorrow will be wet, with a maximum of 4C in the afternoon.

Tuesday’s clash between Inverness and Dundee went ahead at the Caledonian Stadium after a pitch inspection at noon.
