A Dundee businessman has said he is open for discussions after an American-based bowling alley installer expressed interest in the plans to build a leisure complex at the Dens Road Market site.
Chris Airlie, who has lodged plans to transform the former market space into a leisure complex said he was encouraged to hear that QubicaAMF is looking to get in touch.
The company, which has headquarters in Mechanicsville, Virginia, and Bologna, Italy, came to the Tele expressing its wishes to get in contact with Mr Airlie.
The 52-year-old, who earlier this year unveiled his plans for the disused market to the Tele, said: “It’s really encouraging to hear that a business based outwith the UK is interested in the plans. I am ready to discuss with any business who can help make the plans a reality.”
The council granted planning permission for the proposed complex in September.
It is set to include a tenpin bowling alley, trampoline park, adventure play area, crazy golf course, bumper cars and a cafe/dining area.
