A Dundee pub is at least £1,000 out of pocket after an early-morning raid.
Thieves took a four-figure sum of cash from The Barn in the Barnhill area on Monday around 1.30am.
They attempted to break into the neighbouring Lee’s Chinese takeaway about the same time but were unsuccessful in gaining entry to the premises.
Police are looking to trace three men seen in the Campfield Square area around the time of the incidents.
A spokesman for the force said: “Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting CR/28856/18 or speak to any police officers.
“Alternatively if you have any information about the incident you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form at crimestoppers-uk.org.”
