Police have swooped on a Dundee golf course following an incident.
It’s understood an assault took place leading to the closure of Caird Park golf course.
Around 12 police vehicles are said to have made their way to Caird Park around 4pm today.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said the force was called to the scene to deal with an assault.
It’s not clear if anyone sustained any serious injuries or the nature of the assault.
Police cars were parked on the central reservation of the Kingsway parallel to the course following the assault.
A Leisure and Culture spokesman said they were aware of the police incident and advised it would be inappropriate to comment further.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Because of nature of incident, all we can say is we are in attendance, but it is a police matter.”
