Thieves made off with an array of items including an inflatable hot tub in a spate of break-ins at Dundee homes recently.
Police are urging locals to be on their guard after the thefts from sheds ion the Downfield area of the city.
As well as the more unusual theft of the hot tub, construction tools, garden furniture and a mountain bike have also been taken.
Officers are now reminding home owners to take steps to prevent thieves from striking again.
A spokeswoman for the force urged folk to secure outbuildings and not tempt intruders by leaving furniture out in your garden.
People are also being asked to be a “good neighbour” keeping an eye out for them, as well as anyone coming to their door.
The spokeswoman added: “Anyone who sees any suspicious activity in their community, or who has any information that could assist the Police Scotland should call 101, or speak to their local officer.
“Information can also be provided anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
“Anyone who sees a crime in progress should call 999 immediately.”
