Hearts across Dundee are set to flutter this month as The Dreamboys rolls into town.
The hit show, which has been touring across the UK, will check-in to the city’s Whitehall Theatre.
Former X Factor and Dancing On Ice star Jake Quickenden will be part of the cast which is sure to get pulses racing.
Choreographer and performer Jordan Darrell, 33, said the show might not be what people expect as they hit the stage on September 18.
The former West End performer – whose previous shows include The Bodyguard and Thriller Live – said men and woman have loved the show so far.
The Dreamboys has been dubbed the UK’s most famous and succesful strip show of its kind.
Jordan has vowed that this year’s show will continue to go against the grain of what people would expect.
He said: “It’s not just about the stripping, it is about all-round entertainment packed with choreography.
“We’ve had men and woman ranging from 18 right up to 101 years old coming to see us, with everything else in between.
“They’ve been engrossed in the show and they’ve actually forgotten about the stripping, it’s a full-on dance show.
“Based on what they expected and the reality, they’ve already told us they’ll be back next year.”
The show will feature the classic builders, officers in white suits, firemen and Baywatch-style hunks.
Jordan added: “There will definitely be the cheese element to the show.
“We also have a movie element in the show where a gem heist takes place.”
Jordan has been working on the show for the last three years and is no stranger to the Whitehall Theatre as he returns to the City of Discovery.
He said: “The Scottish crowd in general is mad.
“Whether it is Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow, they always give us such a great energy.
“I’ve performed at the Whitehall Theatre before.
“It was a great venue, the staff have always been lovely to us while we’ve been there.”
This year’s show will feature current chart hits and nostalgic tunes.
Stars from Geordie Shore and The Only Way is Essex have made special guest appearances in the show.
X Factor star Quickenden has ditched his microphone to be a mainstay of the Dundee show this year.
Jordan added: “We’ve got Jake performing as part of the show.
“He had initially been the interval singing act four years ago, now he’s part of the show.
“He’s a great singer and a great performer. All the guys in the show work so hard.
“We’ve got cast members from Essex, Wales, Birmingham and Lithuania who will be on the tour bus.
“These guys have worked with some top artists including Justin Beiber and Beyonce.”
Tickets for the show are still on sale at the Dundee City Box Office.
One lucky punter will become part of the high-octane, two-hour show.
Jordan said: “We started work on this show last year in September, October time.
“We hit the road in March of this year.
“It’s a great interactive show that has been entertaining thousands across the length and breadth of the country.
“I can’t wait to get back to Dundee and give the city another great show.”
