Tayside Police have asked folk to let them know if they have been offered cheap vaping equipment after a shop break-in.
Police are appealing for information about a theft by housebreaking at a shop in East High Street, Crieff, between 3pm on Saturday and 11.20am on Monday.
A shop selling vaping liquids and equipment was broken into, and had various pieces of equipment, liquid stock, and a quantity of cash stolen.
A police statement said: “As entry was gained through the rear of the property it is unlikely that anyone has witnessed the break-in take place.
“There is a good chance, however, that items stolen from the shop may have been offered for sale in the town and the surrounding area.
“As always, if a deal seems to good to be true, it usually is.
“If you have been offered cheap vaping equipment or liquid in the Strathearn area since Saturday, or if you have any relevant information which could assist our enquiries, please call 101 or speak with any police officer.
“Information can also be passed anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference is CR/21965/18.”
