A new music festival is to be held in Dundee later this year, celebrating a variety of different forms and genres.
The Glam Dundee event has already attracted support from some of the city’s biggest venues for live music, DJs, and acoustic sets.
Organiser Grant Leslie said: “This is the most exciting thing to happen in Dundee for a long time, musically.
“As all venues and closing parties are based in the city centre, all money will stay in Dundee for the local businesses to benefit from.
“Dundee has gone through a hard time lately and events like this are needed to give the city centre’s licensed trade a boost.
“It’s going to be an exciting big day out — one not to be missed.”
International DJs Vini Vici will appear and venues including Nicoll’s, Klozet, Boudoir Bar and Rewind will all host events.
The free festival is on Sunday April 30, with full details to be announced later this month.
