Dundee United’s top of the table clash with St Mirren will go ahead as planned, despite an early weather scare.

The Buddies have confirmed tonight’s game will be on with the worst of the weather already taken place.

The club previously deemed the pitch playable, but fears were raised about the surrounding area.

Nearby Glasgow Airport even cancelled flights due to the thick snow.

St Mirren fans turned out in numbers to help clear the roads and pavements.

The club shared a picture of the playing surface covered in snow, but this should be cleared in time for the 7.45pm kick off.
