Christmas may still be a couple of months away but plans have already been made for this year’s West End Christmas Fortnight.
It will be held from November 24 to December 8.
Various events have already been planned and the fortnight kicks off with a children’s craft event on November 24.
The festive fun continues on November 25 with a vintage tea and fashion event.
On November 28 is the switch-on of the Christmas lights along with a concert and fireworks.
The West Port lights will be switched on on November 30.
Throughout December there will be Christmas fairs, a design market, craft events, Christmas tea and carols, football, and a Christmas ceilidh.
There will also be various children’s activities at Blackness Library, a children’s window spotting competition, and a best dressed shop window competition.
