Dundee United forward Patrick N’Koyi has left the club, Tannadice officials have confirmed.
The Dutch striker joined United in the summer under the tenure of Ray McKinnon but has failed to get much game time recently.
New gaffer Csaba Laszlo has admitted the 27-year-old was left ‘frustrated’ at the lack of action and a parting of ways was in the interest of both parties.
He told the Dundee United website: “Patrick had been frustrated at not seeing much action and spoke to me about it.
“It was in both our interests that he go elsewhere to find more on-field action.”
The departure could come at the perfect time for Laszlo who will look to bring in fresh blood in the January transfer window.
He added: “This creates space within the squad for me to bolster our attacking options if the right quality becomes available.”
N’Koyi played 11 times for the Tangerines scoring just three times.
