Police in Dundee are carrying out free vehicle safety checks for motorists tomorrow.
Officers from the Longhaugh community team will be at Morrisons’ car park from 10am-2pm as part of efforts to improve driver safety over the winter, when falling temperatures and unpredictable weather can make the roads perilous.
Visitors will also receive tips on how to drive in poor conditions.
Members of the public can visit the pop-up stall, where they will be able to pick up information on vehicle and road safety.
Car owners can also receive a free vehicle inspection by officers, who will check for faults to indicators, windscreen wipers and tyres.
Morrisons is also providing screen wash and de-icer for the police to give to motorists.
Constable Amanda Watson said: “I’d encourage motorists to take advantage of these free checks to ensure your vehicle is safe.
“A few simple checks can reduce the risk of being in a breakdown or a collision.”
