Former Dundee United captain Sean Dillon took on the Beast from the East as he chipped in clearing roads and paths.
The 34-year-old, who stays in Inchture, along with local councillor Alasdair Bailey joined together to help clean up the Orchard Way thoroughfares of snow following the blizzard-like conditions on Tuesday night.
Dillon, now player-coach at Montrose, was more than happy to help build an igloo with local kids as a “by-product” of the clear-up efforts.
Sadly the further snow fall over night has since covered up the paths and play park and councillor Bailey said he will let nature take its course today before attempting to clear the roads again.
Alasdair, who serves the Carse of Gowrie ward, added: “It was mostly my kids and his getting together for the community.
“Unfortunately the weather over night has completely covered the park and paths again – but it’s given our igloo a nice authentic look.”
