Former Dundee squad member Jeremy Malherbe has headed to Greece after signing for Panionios.
The French goalkeeper was brought in to cover first-choice Elliott Parish at the start of January after the departure of Scott Bain.
However, despite being at the Dark Blues for six months, Malherbe didn’t manage to make a single appearance as Development goalkeeper Calum Ferrie overtook him in the pecking order.
The 27-year-old arrived in Dundee after leaving Dinamo Brest in Belarus and now heads for the Greek Super League.
Panionios finished in seventh spot in Greece’s top flight last season, only five points off a Europa League place.
Malherbe has signed a two-year deal.
Meanwhile, the arrival of former Hearts goalie Jack Hamilton this summer may see Ferrie and fellow young keeper Kyle Gourlay head out on loan in the coming season to gain experience.
