A Foo Fighters tribute act will be one of the star performers at an event in Dundee next month.
Organisers of the World Union of Karate Federations (WUKF) World Karate Championships have announced that UK Foo Fighters will entertain crowds at the opening ceremony at Dundee Ice Arena on Friday June 15.
The group are considered one of the best tribute acts to the American six-piece and will be performing hits including Best of You, Times Like These, Learn to Fly and Monkey Wrench.
The championships will be held at the ice arena from June 14-17 with Dundee-based Kanzen Karate Scotland as the host organising team.
The event, one of the largest of its kind, was secured by Kanzen Karate in March 2017, and is predicted to generate a significant boost to the local economy.
Tickets for the opening ceremony, costing £12 for adults and £7 for children, are on sale from eventbrite.co.uk with access to the arena from 5pm.
