The new owner of a landmark Dundee Waterfront office building has said it is the “right time to invest” in the city.
Newly formed Jute Properties has snapped up DundeeOne River Court in the hope of benefiting from the city’s heightened profile as the nearby V&A Museum of Design is completed and the wider Waterfront regeneration progresses.
Managing director Jeremy Dixon said he was delighted to have secured the Grade A office space — which is home to a number of sitting tenants including legal firm MacRoberts, Handelsbanken, Home in Scotland and YoYo Games — as the city continues on its journey of economic renaissance.
“I live in Coupar Angus and I know Dundee well,” he said. “I have seen it change over the last two or three years.
“I think now is the right time to invest, with the V&A completion, the new railway station being completed and new hotels taking shape.”
