Fire crews have been called to a Dundee school building after reports of flooding.
Firefighters were dispatched to the old St Joseph’s RC Primary building on Bellfield Street.
A total of five fire engines were on the scene at one point following the call at 10am, as well as a Community Safety Unit.
Specially trained water rescue personnel from the fire service could also be seen inside the basement as they made a search of the area where the water was thought to be as much as four-foot high.
Blackness Road watch manager Serge Kabamba said: “We are currently pumping water out of the basement so we can remove the excess water.
“It is about three to four foot of depth and that’s where we are at the moment.”
Flooding was reported in the basement of the derelict building, opposite the Whitehall Theatre.
