Firefighters called to blaze at Apex hotel in Dundee

Firefighters have been called to a blaze at the Apex City Quay Hotel in Dundee.

Five fire engines arrived at the scene after a call at 8.32am this morning.

There were reports of a fire on the roof. The building was evacuated.

A spokesman for the fire service said the blaze was in an electrical cupboard and was extinguished using buckets of water.
