Firefighters were called to quell an fire in a Tayside town this morning.
The fire took hold in the open in the town of Stanley, which sits on the banks of the River Tay, just before 6am.
A member of the public raised the alarm and the fire was extinguished before spreading.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue said: “We were called to a fire in the open in Stanley, Perthshire.
“A member of the public alerted us to the fire.
“One hose reel was used to put out the fire.
“One appliance attended from the Perth fire station.
“The crew stood down at 6.20am.”
