A driver is having to be cut free of their vehicle after a serious road crash.
Emergency services are at the scene of the smash on the A914 near Drumoig, the main route between Dundee and St Andrews.
The collision, involving a car and a bus, happened at around 9.30am.
Firefighters were in the process of freeing the occupant of the car using hydraulic cutting gear.
As of 10.45am, firefighters were still on the scene.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were notified at 9.41am.
“An appliance from Tayport and St Andrews are on the scene.”
The road has been blocked and completely closed by the smash.
Bus services to and from St Andrews from Dundee face severe delays following the incident.
