Fire crews were called to a derelict hospital near Dundee to rescue a dog.
Two appliances from the Macalpine Road fire station rescued the animal from Strathmartine Hospital.
Crews arrived at the scene shortly after 9am Monday before clearing rubble from a basement in the grounds of the hospital.
Staff used portable lighting, respiratory equipment and small tools during the operation.
Crews had also been in the grounds of the hospital on Sunday after reports two dogs were missing.
The animals had been missing since Saturday morning before a search focused around the hospital which has been closed for more than 15 years.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed two appliances had been in the area for several hours on Sunday as part of the operation but no dogs had been found.
