A Dundee and Angus College jobs fair aimed at school leavers will welcome more than 30 local employers.
The It’s Your Future! Angus Careers Fair takes place concludes today at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel.
More than 450 S4-S6 pupils from eight secondary schools across Angus will attend.
The event will highlight several types of apprenticeship as options for young people who are looking for work.
Among those on offer will be foundation apprenticeships for S5 and S6 pupils seeking work experience while still in school.
Skills Development Scotland (SDS) say these can help pupils get a head-start in their chosen career.
Also on offer are modern apprenticeships aimed at 16 to 24-year-olds and graduate apprenticeships, which mix college with on-the-job learning.
The jobs fair has been arranged by the college with Angus Council education chiefs, SDS, Dundee University and the DYW Regional Group.
Stephen Barlow, managing director of local employer Interplex and chairman of the DYW Dundee and Angus board, said: “I am delighted to support this event and get the message out about the value of apprenticeships.
“We have modern and graduate apprentices in our company and they make a very important contribution to our business.
“They bring fresh ideas, a much- needed pipeline of future talent and are trained in a way that meets our skills needs.”
