Dundee University will be awash with colour this weekend.
Holi, also known as the “festival of colours”, will return to campus on Saturday and organisers have said its going to be bigger and better than before.
Members of the public are invited to join students and staff at the event which has been organised by the university’s Indian Society.
The day will feature a performance by DJ Hardeep, from Glasgow, who is well known for his Punjabi and Bhangra mixes.
There will also be a barbecue and the celebrations begin at noon.
The festival involves coloured powders, which are commonly used in events like colour runs, and they will wash off.
Simran Chopra, president of the Indian Society, said: “Everyone is invited to join us. Holi is the Hindu festival of love and colour, so bring a white T-shirt and expect to become a human rainbow.”
