A pedestrian who was hit by a car on a Dundee street has been urged to come forward.
The incident involving a silver car and a male pedestrian happened in Seagate, near St Andrews Street, at around 5pm yesterday.
The driver of the car stopped and contacted the emergency services.
However, prior to an ambulance arriving at the scene the male pedestrian who sustained a head injury got to his feet, spoke to the driver, declined to wait and walked off.
A police statement said: “Officers are appealing for the pedestrian to get in touch to confirm his welfare.
“We are also appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision to come forward.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 2949 of 5 December.”
