Dundee fans are being invited to pay their last respects to club legend Alan Gilzean ahead of his funeral.
The ceremony will take place at Dundee Crematorium on Friday at 12.30pm, with close family and friends invited.
Ahead of the ceremony, ‘Gillie’s’ family have allowed Dees a chance to say goodbye to the man who was part of the 1962 league winning side.
His casket will be laid in the Alan Gilzean lounge within Dens Park tonight from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Supporters looking to go along can enter the stadium through the Main Door beside the reception.
On Friday Alan’s body will pass Dens Park one last time around 11.55am as the funeral cortege goes down the Provost Road.
It will also pass Dens Road, Strathmartine Road, Clepington Road, McAlpine Road before making its way to the crematorium.
Supporters are again invited to pay their respects along the route.
Alan Gilzean made 190 appearances for Dundee and scored a remarkable 169 goals, making him to this day the side’s all-time top scorer.
After his seven years in the Dark Blue of Dundee he moved to Tottenham where he also became a legend.
