A Dundee family who were the target of a vicious attack have been forced to flee their home.
Roxanne Montague, 21, and her partner Shaun Hunter, 26, said they are living in fear after they received threats.
Roxanne believes the threats have been made by the same people who attacked them last week at their home in Ballantrae Road, Douglas.
Roxanne was in her living room with her 11-month-old son Mason last Wednesday when a brick came crashing into her home.
The missile and flying glass missed her baby, who was lying on a mat on the floor, by only inches.
Roxanne reported the incident to Police Scotland who have confirmed they are following a positive line of inquiry into the attack.
Today Roxanne said that the day after the attack she and Shaun received threats that left them fearing for their and their baby’s safety.
She said: “Basically I was told that the same people who threw the brick were coming to get us.
“I was so scared that I decided I couldn’t stay in our home a minute longer.
“I just grabbed a few basic bits and pieces for Mason and left.
“Myself and Shaun have had to take our baby and go into hiding.
“I don’t know when we will be able to go back home.
“I’m scared for myself but I’m an awful lot more scared for my baby.
“I don’t understand how anyone can threaten to harm an innocent baby.
“If anything happened to him I would never forgive myself or whoever is doing all this.”
Roxanne said: “I think I know who is doing this, particularly if it’s the same people who threw the brick.
“My brother was told to warn us that these people were coming to get us and that we had better look out.
“I have gone back to the police so I really hope they can find out who is doing all this.”
A spokesman for Police Scotland said the matter is being investigated.
