It’s the news fans of a full house have been waiting for — Evening Telegraph bingo is back.
After a break for the festive season, it’ll be eyes down time again today for your weekly chance to win a fantastic £500.
As ever, your unique game card will be printed in our Seven entertainment magazine, which will feature its usual mix of fashion, food, supermarket best buys and a comprehensive guide to your week on the TV.
But the new game will also be a wee bit different to make it even more entertaining for players.
Traditionally, the first set of bingo numbers to match have been printed in Monday’s Evening Telegraph.
That meant that bingo fans had to wait a whole 48 hours before they could start crossing-off the digits on their game card.
But the new-look bingo’s first set of numbers will now be printed in the Weekend Telegraph every Saturday — so you can start playing the game straight away.
The prize hasn’t changed however, and there’s still £500 up for grabs every single week. Just think what a difference that could make to your bank account!
It would certainly go a long way to banishing the January blues.
Evening Telegraph editor Andrew Kellock said: “We know Tele readers love their bingo and we’re delighted it’s back for 2018 with a new look and a new format.
“Playing six days a week rather than five should make it even more fun and there’s still that great cash prize to be won.
“It’s just another reason why you shouldn’t miss the Weekend Telegraph, which as ever features a great mix of local news, views and sport as well as our free Seven entertainment magazine.
“I’d like to wish all Tele readers lots of luck.”
Nic Hutchison, marketing executive, said: “We’re so excited to bring the Tele’s bingo back.
“You’ve all got a new chance to win £500 every single week — so make sure to pick up your Weekend Tele every Saturday to get your numbers and grid.
“The best thing about our new game is that you can start playing right away, rather than having to wait until Monday. Just remember — you’ve got to be in it to win it!”
