Former Dundee United and Liverpool ace Andrew Robertson has been named Scotland captain.
The 24-year-old takes on the armband following Scott Brown’s retirement from international football.
Robertson will lead the national team out for the upcoming friendly with Belgium and the Nations League games and other fixtures after that.
The left-back has enjoyed a rapid rise to fame after sealing a move to Liverpool from Hull City in the summer of 2017.
Prior to that, the Tigers paid Dundee United a fee of around £3m for Robertson in 2014.
He is now a mainstay of the Liverpool defence and has provided two assists in just four games in the English Premier League already this season.
