Former Dundee defender Jack Hendry is set to leave Celtic on loan this month.
Since departing Dens for a club-record fee last January, Hendry has struggled to command a regular starting spot at Parkhead and the club are keen to give him game time elsewhere.
A return to the Dark Blues, however, is unlikely with clubs down south lining up to take Hendry on a temporary deal.
Jack Ross’s Sunderland head the pack with fellow League One challengers Bradford and Portsmouth also keen to add the former Wigan man to their ranks.
The 23-year-old hasn’t featured for Celtic since the 3-1 Europa League defeat to RB Salzburg on October 4.
In his short spell at Dundee, Hendry made just 30 appearances before Celtic secured him in a seven-figure deal.
