Car hire firm Enterprise is set to open a new branch at an industrial estate in Dundee.
The firm, which already has a site on the Seagate that it opened in the late 1990s, has lodged a planning application with Dundee City Council detailing its latest proposals for the Dunsinane Industrial Estate.
The application requests permission to allow “motor vehicle hire” on the land, which is currently empty.
It proposes building a car park capable of holding up to 61 cars, a centrally-located office block and a car wash for cleaning returned vehicles.
Both cars and vans could be available for rent from the firm should the application be approved.
Enterprise has also included four “car club” parking bays with a charging point, possibly to comply with the council’s policies on electric vehicle provision.
A decision will be made by the start of November on whether the firm can go ahead with its plans.
