A former cocktail bar in the heart of Perth is to be given a new lease of life as an Italian restaurant.
Rocablu has lain empty since it closed earlier this year and owner Centreglobal has announced new plans to transform the unit.
Work has started on the Speygate site and a crane had to be brought in to install a state-of-the-art pizza oven – via the roof.
Businessman Vito Crolla planned to set up his latest venture in the former Bank of Scotland building in South Street before switching to Rocablu.
It is thought the restaurant, to be named Roma, will create 25 jobs.
