An elderly woman was taken to Ninewells Hospital after being hit by a car.
Police and ambulance were called the incident which saw the casualty, in her eighties, sustain a head injury.
The collision happened on Murray Street in Montrose at about 1.30pm yesterday.
The woman is not believed to have sustained any serious or life threatening injuries.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We were called to Murray Street at about 1.30pm on Wednesday.
“An elderly female sustained a bump to the head after being hit by a vehicle at slow speed.
“The female involved was taken to Ninewells hospital by an ambulance at 1.56pm to be checked over, however there is no suggestion of any severe injuries.”
