Police recovered controlled drugs from a Hilltown block of flats as part of a warrant executed in the city.
Officers raided a property on Dallfield Court before three woman and a man were arrested.
A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed all four were released following the morning raid pending further inquiries.
One resident, who declined to be named, said there was a police presence from around 11.30am on Wednesday September 12.
He said: “I’m aware they raided a property at Dallfield Court shortly before midday.
“Its not a surprise to see the police in the area.
“There has been issues in that block in particular in the past.
“We maybe had as many as eight officers at the scene.
“It wasn’t until someone else came out they told me it had been a raid.”
The drugs raid was carried out just a matter of days after police and fire crews launched an investigation into a suspicious blaze in the block on Saturday September 8 after a front door was set on fire.
A spokesman for the force said: “Police Scotland executed a drugs search warrant at a flat in Dallfield Court, Dundee, on the morning of Wednesday September 12.”
He added: “Quantities of controlled drugs were recovered from the property, and three women and one man were arrested.
“All four were subsequently released pending further inquiry.”
