Dundee have confirmed Glen Kamara will join Rangers after the midfielder signed a pre-contract agreement with the Ibrox side.
The Finnish international has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs north and south of the border with Cardiff City confirming they were tracking Kamara earlier this week.
However, Ibrox will be his next destination after signing a four-year deal which starts when his contract expires at the end of the season, though a move this month is not out of the question.
With new players in the winter window needed to bolster their bid to survive relegation, Dark Blues boss Jim McIntyre may be keen to cut a deal with the Gers to finance incoming transfers.
The Dens Park club said: “Rangers FC have today been in contact with the club to confirm that midfielder Glen Kamara has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Ibrox side.”
Kamara has played 65 times for Dundee and was the club’s 2017/18 Player of the Year, winning the Andrew De Vries trophy last season.
