This year’s fireworks display is set to take Dundonians back to their childhood.
The council has revealed the theme at this year’s event will feature music from the very best children’s films.
Dazzling fireworks displays at both Lochee and Baxter Parks will go off to music from the likes of Frozen, Toy Story and the Jungle Book amongst others.
Last year’s event attracted attracted tens of thousands of spectators to both venues and similar numbers are expected again next Saturday.
Neighbourhood Services Depute Convener Vari McDonald said: “Thousands of people continue to attend the council’s fireworks events at Baxter and Lochee parks because they are superb displays.
“I would encourage as many people as possible to come along this year.
“By attending one of these organised displays you are ensuring your safety this bonfire night and I would encourage everyone to come along.”
The displays take place at 7pm, with the lighting of the bonfire at both parks at 6.15pm.
People are reminded not to bring their own fireworks, sparklers or Chinese lanterns to the displays.
