Dundee United defender Tam Scobbie has sealed a late move to Partick Thistle.
The 30-year-old has joined the Jags on a six-month loan until January, with the news announced just moments before the Scottish transfer window slammed shut.
Scobbie was told he was free to move on from United at the end of last season, despite having a year left on his contract.
The former St Johnstone man will now shore up the defence of United’s rivals in the push for the Premiership.
A statement on Partick’s website said Scobbie “brings a wealth of experience to the Thistle backline with a Challenge Cup win and Scotland youth caps to his name.”
