Dundee United manager Csaba Laszlo admits he is relieved to, finally, have close to a full squad to choose from.
Csaba will have more at his disposal for the clash at Championship bottom side Falkirk today and could hand starts to key men Fraser Fyvie and Billy King.
Both are rated touch and go while Sam Stanton, Nicky Clark and Stewart Murdoch are working their way back to full training.
Csaba said: “We have spoken with Fraser and he still hasn’t decided but he is not far enough along psychologically but I think, definitely, he will be part of the squad.
“We are looking to protect the player in the long term, not just one game.
“It will be a decision between him and me. He has worked very hard and the physios and doctors have done a good job.
“You saw on Saturday how important a player he is for our team.
“He told me that, if it’s necessary, he would come on to the pitch.
“He may not be ready for 90 minutes but I think 45 could be OK for him.
“Any decision from his side will be accepted from my side. We need him for long term not just the short term.
“Billy King is definitely ready for the game, which is good news. He has trained well.
“Sam Stanton has started running and will begin training next week with the team.
“Nicky Clark will begin to train next week with the team.
“If everything goes good, in one week more or less, we will have everybody back.
“We have fought for so long for this.
“In a week or two we will have everybody at full power for 90 minutes which I’m happy about.”
