Dundee will jet off to the Algarve for a pre-season trip – as well as playing a Portuguese team.
Neil McCann’s men are due to meet up from their summer holidays on June 22 before heading to Portugal in early July.
The Dark Blues are in for “an intensive week of pre-season training” before a friendly against S.C. Farense on July 10.
Farense were promoted to LigaPro after winning the Portuguese third-tier last season.
The training camp will give the manager and his backroom staff the chance to put in extra hours in warm weather conditions ahead of the first Betfred Cup fixture against Stirling Albion on July 14.
It will be the first time The Dee will have travelled abroad for pre-season since Paul Hartley took his squad to Hungary in 2015.
