A disgraced Dundee teacher has been told he is unlikely to face jail after being caught in possession of indecent images of children.
Stuart Grant, 33, had already admitted taking or making indecent images of children between September 11 2008 and June 4 2012 at an address in Kirkcroft Brae, Liff.
He further admitted possessing indecent images of children at the same address on November 30 2011.
Grant appeared at Forfar Sheriff Court, but Sheriff Gregor Murray deferred sentence until May, saying his offence only involved a very low number of images and a social work report “did not reflect that”.
The court heard police found four Category C images on Grant’s computer equipment, of girls aged between five and eight in underwear in indecent poses.
Grant, of Almond Place, was sacked by St Francis Primary School — formerly St Luke’s and St Matthew’s — in May after his arrest.
