Dundee striker Benjamin Kallman is a major doubt for next week’s trip to Hibs as he battles a knee complaint.
The Finnish international, who has been on standby for his national side over this international break, picked up the problem in the draw with St Mirren at Dens last week.
Manager Jim McIntyre confirmed the on-loan frontman had fluid on his knee and the club are monitoring his progress ahead of the trip to Easter Road.
The 20-year-old has since posted on social media a photo of his knee wrapped up in an attempt to reduce the problem, complete with an unhappy face emoji.
Kallman has been a regular pick for the new Dens gaffer since taking over a month ago, missing only the Motherwell match due to concussion.
And his absence will be a blow to the Dark Blues, should the treatment not work in time, with a severe lack of goals leaving the side bottom of the Premiership table and likely replacement Sofien Moussa still to grab a league strike this campaign.
