A Dundee street remains closed off today following a major incident.
Police, the fire service and, according to witnesses, a bomb disposal unit were called to the scene.
Officers were initially called to Fairbairn Street at around 6pm yesterday.
A large cordon was set up around the area, taking in North Isla Street and Tannadice Street, with some homes said to have been evacuated.
This morning, police remain on the scene with the road closure still in place.
A police command unit has been stationed in the area.
Police Scotland has refused to reveal anymore information when contacted by the Tele.
A spokesman would only confirm the incident is still “ongoing.”
