Ice hockey team Dundee Stars visited Tayside Children’s Hospital at Ninewells to hand out teddies gathered at the “teddy-toss” game against the Edinburgh Capitals.
The Stars visit the hospital every year to hand out cuddly toys.
The team also donated teddies to Wave 102’s Help for Kids and Tay FM’s Mission Christmas.
The game saw a record number of teddies hit the ice following Justin Fox’s early goal.
Stars general manager Omar Pacha said: “The teddy-toss is a fantastic tradition in hockey.
“As an organisation, we are continuing to work proactively with the Dundee community and this year’s record-breaking number of teddies is another great indication of the progress that has taken place this season with Stars in the community.”
Una Paton, play specialist at Ninewells, said: “The children had great fun and were very excited to meet the team.”
