The Dundee Stars have announced their second summer signing in two days.
Today the Stars have unveiled veteran Swedish goaltender Pontus Sjögren who is likely to be the main netminder for the upcoming EIHL season.
The 33-year-old joins Omar Pacha’s side in his first spell abroad after spending his entire career in Sweden in the Swedish Hockey League.
Pacha was delighted to welcome his new man to the club.
He said: “Pontus has played at very high levels all his life. He is a fierce competitor.
“I truly believe we have a goalie that can make a difference on a daily basis. We are looking forward to having him in Dundee”.
