Dundee are set to announce the signing of Finnish striker Benjamin Kallman.
It’s understood the 20-year-old Inter Turku forward will sign on an initial loan deal.
The Finnish international has scored eight goals in 20 league matches for Inter Turku this season and featured in a friendly against Jordan for the national side after being called up for the first time – along with Dundee’s Glen Kamara – at the start of this year.
Dens gaffer Neil McCann has identified Kallman as the man to help solve his side’s goal problem and he is known to be a strong, skilful forward.
It is expected he will arrive in Dundee later today for a medical and will train with his new team-mates.
He scored nine goals in his debut season last year as Inter Turku finished ninth and scored twice for the Finnish U/21 side in a recent win over the Faroe Islands.
