Dundee have confirmed the signing of Tom Hateley.
The former Motherwell, Tranmere, Reading and Slask Wroclaw man has penned a two-year deal at Dens Park, after passing a medical this morning.
Hateley becomes manager Paul Hartley’s eighth signing of a busy summer. He joins on a free transfer having been released by Polish side Slask after two and a half years plying his trade in the Ekstraklasa.
The Dark Blues are understood to have beaten a host of top clubs north and south of the border, including Bolton Wanderers, Bradford City, Hibs and Partick Thistle, to his signature.
Confirming the news, a club statement read: “Tom is comfortable at both right back and in central midfield.
“He was at Dens this afternoon to sign his contract and will train with his new team mates for the first time tomorrow.”
