A Dundee restaurant that closed its doors earlier this month may be reopening soon.
Administrators have confirmed an offer to buy the business has been accepted.
A note on the door of Brassica in Shore Terrace states that Brasserie Ecosse will be the new occupier.
Skevi Iacovou, an assistant manager for UHY Hacker Young LLP, said: “Peter Kubik of UHY was appointed as administrator of Tayone Food Limited, trading as Brassica, on October 11 2018, following a court application from creditors.
“An offer to purchase the business and assets has been accepted and is currently subject to contract.
“As the specific terms of the sale are still being negotiated, I am unable to provide any further information at this stage.”
The notice on the door of the restaurant confirms that Tayone Food Ltd no longer occupies the premises.
Dundee City Council, which owns the building, declined to comment on the latest development at the premises.
