Theatre fans will be able to enjoy a taste of old Dundee at an amateur production in the city.
The Reh Tam Players will be presenting “Whaur Did the Overgate Go?” at The Little Theatre in Victoria Road today and Friday.
It’s billed as telling the story of the heart of Dundee.
The play, which has been described as a comedy of a bygone era, was written and produced by Dundee woman Margaret Mather.
The production will allow Dundonians to relive the great old days of Dundee and bring back to life the old Overgate, as well as taking a look at the new Overgate.
Theatre-goers will also get a chance to look again at the Mid Kirk Style Market, the buster stalls, the famous dancing venue the Palais as well as the Monkey Parade.
The show begins at 7pm each evening and tickets cost £12 and £10 for OAPs and children.
